Thursday, Dec. 13, the Men’s Basketball team hosted Northwestern Ohio for a non-conference game. Wright State offered free admission to this game with the donation of one canned food item, making it a well-attended event.
The Raiders started out slow in the first half of the game, losing to the NAIA team for a majority of the half. At the end of the first half, the Raiders took the lead but the score remained tight. Things turned around quickly though, as the Raiders came out scoring for the remainder of the game.
It didn’t take long for the Raiders to gain a sizable lead, shooting 55 percent during the second half. The score of the game was 91 to 52, making Wright State 5-6 before conference play begins.
