When it comes to apps, there are many hidden gems that few have discovered. For all the audio book lovers out there, one of those apps is Overdrive.

Overdrive is an app dedicated to audio books, the best part about this app is that it is completely free. Connected through your account at your public library, users have access to millions of titles in eBook or audio book form.

One of the many great things about Overdrive is its vast diversity in the categories it offers. It has teen, young adult and adult titles as well as autobiographies; some autobiographies are even read by the author. There’s nothing like hearing Betty White read to you.

There is something for everyone, which goes without saying. Plus, it is genre galore.

Overdrive is a game changer. It won’t take much to convince book lovers, but for those that don’t read often, this is a reason to. It does the work for you!

Multitasking is made easier with Overdrive, it helps turn mundane chores into something to look forward to.

Another great quality about Overdrive is the elimination of late fees. You no longer have to worry about when your item is due; it automatically returns itself for you. While this might seem like a simple feature, racking up fees is a common issue for many people.

If you don’t already have an account with your local library, set one up, download Overdrive, log in and get to requesting. Keep in mind that some titles, the more popular ones, might have a waitlist.

Happy listening!
