Fans of musical artists such as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd can step back in time while enjoying modern technology through “Lasers Back to Rock.” The laser show will be at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery Friday, Feb. 15 through Monday, Feb. 18. The show is comprised of laser demonstrations which are choreographed to the beats of the music and will be augmented by the Planetarium’s new Digistar 4 sound system.
Additionally, this weekend of lasers coincides with the Museum’s Valentine’s programs, which will occur on Thursday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 16. Those who are looking for a more romantic evening at the museum can escape from the cold while still enjoying stargazing in the planetarium. The Valentine’s event will be $25 per couple.
“When it comes to a midnight special effects classic rock show, college students just seemed like a natural fit,” the Senior Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at the Dayton Society of Natural History Kristy Creel said.
