Alpha Xi Delta and Phi Kappa Tau invites all to join them for their Roller Disco, where students can skate, enter in contests and give to two charities.
The event is held at Skyborn Skateland in Fairborn on March 8 from 10 p.m. to midnight. Alpha Xi Delta and Phi Kappa Tau worked together on all aspects of this event to make it a success.
This is Wright State’s ninth year hosting Roller Disco. There are usually 100-200 people who attend.
“Everyone is encouraged to dress in their best disco attire and skate the night away,” Public Relations and Vice President of Alpha Xi Delta Catie Belus said.
Belus said that her favorite part of Roller Disco is “getting dressed up with all my sisters and friends and having a great time.”
There will be multiple giveaways throughout the night, including at least a dozen gift cards, a bag from Banana Republic and five gift baskets full of prizes. There will also be a 50/50 where one lucky winner will win half of the money made from the raffle tickets for the drawing.
All Wright State students are able to attend. Tickets are $5 for presale or $7 at the door. All proceeds are split towards Autism Speaks and the Serious Fun Network.
