Wright State Student Government will be holding election for the 2013-2014
academic school year starting Tuesday, March 12 at 9 a.m. and ending on Friday
March 15 at 5 p.m.
Student government will be accepting applications for all open positions until
Monday, March 11 at noon. According to student government Chief Justice Tiffany
Fridley, all positions are paid, and provide great leadership experience.
Open positions include president and vice-president, senators for the College of
Liberal Arts, the College of Science and Math, the Raj Soin College of Business, the
College of Education and Human Services, the College of Nursing and Health, the
College of Engineering and Computer Science, the School of Professional Psychology,
as well as Residential Senator and Commuter Senator.
Individuals wishing to apply for candidacy must fill out an application and petition
for candidacy. Applications can be picked up at the Student Government Office,
located at 029H Student Union, or downloaded from their website, www.wsusg.com.
All applications must be turned into the Office of Community Standards and Student
Conduct by noon on Monday, March 11.
