Wright Parenting to help babysitters get jobs and parents find babysitters

Wright Parenting will host the Babysitting Networking Event for the first time at Wright State. The event is a chance for potential babysitters to meet with parents looking for a sitter outside of daycare hours. It will be a networking opportunity for both parents and babysitters.

The event will be like a job fair with the exception of professional dress. Students with babysitting or experience with children should bring their resume, references, pay rate and availability. Student or faculty parents should bring a list of their expectations of a babysitter, their expected pay rate and availability.

“Parents should feel free to bring their kids to this meeting and any of our other meetings,” event coordinator Romicha Jeter said.

The Babysitting Networking Event will be March 21 from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. in 076 University Hall. Students and faculty are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
