Ageless Beauty M.D is a medical rejuvenation center that provides nail services like manicures and pedicures. They also do tattoo removal, permanent eye makeup enhancement and various types of massages, waxing, reflexology and more. WSU alumnus Annette Sand did marketing research and prepared a marketing plan that revealed that medical spas are on the rise.
Sand attended WSU for marketing and communications. Sand’s friend Dr. Anne Reddy is the owner and Sand works as the investor and marketing manager. Ageless Beauty M.D will have its grand opening on April 13 with the radio station Mix 107.7 and will host the Time Warp Prom.
Sand decided to start a business when Reddy was looking for a way to improve her patients’ overall health and beauty. The hardest part of starting a business was “trying not to be discouraged when unexpected problems arose,” Sand said.
Sand acknowledges Wright State for helping her start her own business.
“Wright State’s professors and academia set a solid foundation for me to acquire a great marketing position starting with the Kettering Medical Center Network as a marketing and communications specialist,” Sand said. “The confidence I obtained from my education has taught me not to be afraid of new things.”
Sand encourages entrepreneurs “to save your money and jump when you get the chance.”
Ageless Beauty M.D. emphasizes relationship marketing and treating customers like family. There are discounts for college students, military personnel, hospital personnel and men.
