App helps graduates thank their family and friends

As graduation approaches, graduates have to start thinking about sending thank you cards. Writing thank you cards can be a tedious task, but there is a new and free ThankYouPro app, that students may find helpful.

The ThankYouPro app includes multiple features and is compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Graduates may select from a set of standard templates or personalize the card by taking a photo of themselves in their cap and gown.

“People don’t enjoy doing thank you cards, and this is an easy way to get thank you cards more accessible to more people,” vice president of Customer Delight Leslie Kennedy said.

The app also includes fonts that can be formatted into different sizes and colors. After graduates have created the basic look and message, they can add their signature to the card. Instead of re-creating the same card over again for a different person, the first design can be saved as a template and re-used.

Once the cards are complete, the graduate may select the “send it” option, and the cards are printed and mailed the next day by the ThankYouPro Company with a first class stamp. Each card is $2.99 or less and the first card is free.

“It can take a minute to make a card, at most two, and then it is done and in the mail,” Kennedy said.

Not only is it fast, but students also don’t have to take the time to mail and print the cards themselves.

“It is the perfect combination of high tech and high touch,” Kennedy said. “Totally personal and still has the great, fast and easy technology. It is generated by the student, but the app takes care of the messy things such as printing, stamping and mailing.”
