Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Student Member of the Wright State Board of Trustees, according to a release addressed to faculty by the Student Trustee Search Committee.
Qualifications for the position include being "mature, reliable and interested in serving the entire Wright State community," the release stated. The selectee will be appointed by Ohio Governor John Kasich to serve a two year term spanning from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2015.
Other requirements include:
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater
- Residency in Ohio
- Eligibility to vote in Ohio
- To be a full time WSU student during tenure of office
- Enrollment at WSU for at least 2 semesters at time of nomination and
- No record of conduct probation or other disciplinary action
