It now appears that the race for the No.1 overall seed in the Horizon League Tournament next month will come down to a photo finish.
After a 102-82 win over Detroit Saturday, Wright State has entered into a three-way tie for first place in the conference.
Green Bay (16-8, 9-3) was defeated at home by Youngstown State (13-12, 9-3), and Cleveland State (13-13, 8-5) lost on the road to Milwaukee (8-18, 4-9) on Sunday. The Phoenix were swept by a conference opponent for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
The Raiders (20-8, 9-3) will take on the Phoenix at the Nutter Center Thursday night at 7 p.m. WSU lost to GB, 69-67, on Jan. 25, two days after defeating Milwaukee 69-64.
WSU was swept by CSU this season but scored a key win over YSU, 93-81, on Feb. 5.
The Raiders will end the regular season with home games against Milwaukee and Valparaiso on March 1 and March 8, and will travel to YSU on March 5.
