The Wright State women's basketball will not officially know its opponent for the first round of the NCAA Tournament until 7 p.m. on Monday night, but ESPN's resident bracketologist Charlie Creme predicts the Raiders will face a team they have seen before.
According to Creme's most recent Bracketology predictions, last updated at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday night, WSU will earn a 13-seed in the West Lafayette Regional against 4-seed North Carolina State.
The Raiders defeated the Wolfpack 99-90 during the first day of competition at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla. on Nov. 29.
Horizon League Player of the Year and newly crowned Horizon League Tournament MVP Kim Demmings led WSU over NC State with 30 points. Four Raiders finished in double figures.
The Raiders will hold a bracket announcement party at the Frickers Deck inside the Nutter Center Monday night. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the NCAA Women's Selection Special will begin on ESPN at 7 p.m.
WSU defeated Green Bay 88-69 Sunday to clinch its first-ever NCAA Tournament bid in program history.
