#TheDress is causing uproar across the entire planet. The dress in question appeared in a Tumblr post, and could seemingly be tearing friendships, relationships and even families apart. (I’m serious.) The problem is this: Half the population thinks the dress is black and blue, and the other half think it is white and gold. The second problem is that both parties think they are 100-percent, without-a-doubt correct in their estimation. This dress broke the Internet in a way Kim Kardashian West never will.
The original dress, first published on swiked’s Tumblr page, has been confirmed as being blue and black. Swiked wrote on her page, “I swear to you its no hoax. I saw the dress in real life, it’s blue and black. Some people just see this pic as white and gold. I DONT HAVE ANY ANSWERS BUT I NEED THEM."
