Deciphering the new Snapchat emojis

ou open your Snapchat app on your phone and emojis have appeared next to the names of your Snapchat friends…but what do they mean? The ever-popular app now includes emojis to identify your top friends and more. Since the Top Friends list has been removed, Snapchat now aims to identify your best friends in a different, less dramatic way that ditches the privacy concerns.

Another update to the app includes a “Needs Love” list of people you used to snap more than you do now, as well as new low-light camera capabilities. Business Insider wrote, "Next time you try to take a photo in a dark room, you'll notice a half-moon symbol. Press it and the picture will brighten."
