The Raiders defeated Morehead State 3-1 on Sunday for their first win of the season.
After going down 1-0 WSU rallied back with three straight goals of their own within a 6:38 span.
60:40 into the game Senior Natalie Sedlock scored back to back goals in 1:16 to put WSU up 2-1. The first goal was assisted by sophomore Stevee Hazel and the second was assisted by Sophomore Sarah Colvin.
Sophomore Ellie Ganz contributed to the lead with 15 yard goal with the net open to give the Raiders a 3-1 lead. Senior goalkeepers Kelsey Deal (4) and Halle Pyle (2) combined for six saves in the match.
The Raiders (1-1) will travel to Ball State (1-1) on Friday, Aug. 28 to battle the Cardinals. The match will begin at 5 p.m.
