The complete 2015-2016 schedule for the Wright State men’s basketball team was released today on Sept. 3. The Raiders fought through injuries last season and were victorious in 11 games with a 3-13 Horizon League conference record.
The Raiders will open the season on Friday, Nov. 13 in DeKalb, Illinois for the NIU Showcase tournament. The next game could possibly be the toughest opponent the Raiders will face as they travel south to take on NCAA power house Kentucky on Nov. 20. Other notable non-conference matchups include George Mason, Georgia State and Xavier.
Horizon League play will begin with a game at Milwaukee on Jan. 2 followed by visits to Green Bay and Northern Kentucky (First Horizon League home game). The Raiders will return home on Jan. 14 for a five game home stand within the next 10 days (Cleveland State, Youngstown State, Detroit, Valparaiso, UIC).
The Raiders will complete the regular season on Feb. 27 against Cleveland State at the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken Loans Arena.
The Horizon League Tournament will be hosted at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan beginning on March 5. The championship game will be on March 8.
