The Wright State Commuter Student Association (CSA) held a free breakfast today and is hosting a free lunch on Thursday as part of their outreach.
Around 150 students gathered for free Timbits, coffee and juice over conversation topics ranging from finals week to the holiday break. Ben Hamilton, WSU Student Government Association Commuter Senator, was thrilled to see so many students come out to the first part of CSA's "Finals Week Survival" event.
"There wasn't much left after the event, which was nice," Hamilton said. "It was definitely a success as it helped get the word out about the Commuter Student Association."
Both food outreaches were created to give commuter and residential students something small to eat between their study sessions and exams.
The lunch portion of this free "Finals Week Survival" event will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the commuter lounge (located in the Student Union). Fried pickles, cheese sticks, pretzel bites and chicken wings will be served.
"Stop by for a bite and good luck with your exams," Hamilton said.
