"Murder on the Orient Express" is the recent movie to come out in theaters based on a mystery murder novel by Agatha Christie.
It’s the story of Hercules Poirot, a famous detective who is able to know how a crime was committed, and by who,, with the smallest of clues.
He miraculous knows what will happen before it actually happens, and he plans for it.
When Hercules is needed in London, his friend offers him a ride on his train, The Orient Express, and mysterious murder unfolds.
A questionable arts dealer has been stabbed and everyone on the train is a suspect, with the evidence and questions all around, this has been the hardest mystery that he has had to solve yet.
Tensions start to run high as the murderer is on the train and an avalanche has fallen stopping the train literally in its tracks.
While the train is stopped Hercules takes the time to question everyone multiple times and finds a revealing connection to every person on the train.
He solves the mystery and has to make a difficult decision, but I won’t give it all away.
In my opinion this movie was great, there are a lot of review out there saying it was a dud, but I highly disagree.
I personally thought the scenery was captivating, we saw snippets of countryside’s and just countries in general and they look beautiful.
The time period is portrayed well with the clothing, the train and it’s interior and how they talk to one another.
The story line is something that kept me entertained until the very end and I was joining in on the guessing game myself.
The only thing I could see that people may not enjoy so much was following along, when watching the movie, you have to pay close attention and focus on the connections, I can see where some would find it hard to follow.
Plus, it’s hard to deny this star-studded cast with Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and many more.
If you need some entertainment and good murder mystery this is the movie for you, I highly recommend "Murder on the Orient Express."
