On Thursday, Feb. 1 starting at 7 a.m., Spirit Airlines offered a giveaway for $200 airfare vouchers for the first 91 customers at Buckeye Donuts, a Columbus doughnut shop.
The airline started the giveaway for its new flight schedule in and out of the Columbus airport. The doughnuts sold by the shop will be specially made in celebration of the airline, According to the Columbus Dispatch.
For those who couldn’t make it to the doughnut shop, Spirit Airline is offering another contest online through Feb. at SpiritSweetDeals.com. The deal includes two round trip tickets to any destination outside of Columbus.
The number of ticket giveaways was chosen to be “a baker's dozen” which would be 91 doughnuts, according to a report from Dayton Daily News.
The airline does not operate at the Dayton International or the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport locations. The John Glenn Columbus International Airport is the only location it started a new service with, according to Dayton Daily News.
Along with creating a new partnership with Columbus airport, the airline will also introduce new nonstop services with Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa Fort Myers and Las Vegas beginning on Feb. 15.
It will be offering an additional giveaway at the airport in Columbus for tickets to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Las Vegas. For more information visit the link to the giveaway.
