LETTER-TO-THE-EDITOR

Letter to the Editor Format + Policy

Dear writer,

The Wright State Guardian encourages its readers to engage in thoughtful and respectful conversation with its viewers. We encourage those that are passionate about their opinions to share with us through letters to the editor.

You are required to list your name, if a student list your rank or if you are a community member list your relation to the campus (ie; alumni/staff/faculty/community member ect). Anonymous letters are only under extenuating circumstances and all letters are subject for rejection by a group of editors.

We will not publish hate speech, extended letters targeting an individual or group. We follow the Wright State University standards and mission statement for diversity, inclusion, and respect. Letters asking to sign a petition, thank you cards, birthday shout outs, and letters that do not hold a topic or argument will be automatically rejected.

Letters must be between 200 - 400 words in length and are subject to editing.

Letters may be submitted to wrightstateguardian@gmail.com

Submissions will be posted Tuesdays to the Letter to the Editors page and your name will be listed within the article.

Sincerely,

The Wright State Guardian Editors
