The Raider athletes took on a weekend full of wins, here is your weekend breakdown:
Baseball defeats Oakland
Wright State Baseball swept Oakland this weekend, winning all three as they hosted Oakland. The Raiders took the first game by a score of 6 to 2. The second game, the Raiders came out hitting, winning 16 to 4. Nothing slowed down in game three with Wright State earning the third win 11 to 3. Offense was on fire for Wright State this weekend.
Women’s Tennis wins against Youngstown
Wright State Women’s Tennis defeated Youngstown State 4-3 and with this win, they move to 4-2 in the conference. The Raiders captured the doubles point with wins from pairings Jillian Milano/Grace Whitney and Anna Jones/Andreea Craciun. Milano, Whitney and Haily Morgan all had singles wins to give the Raiders the team W.
Track Competes in the Ball State Challenge
Wright State traveled to Muncie, Indiana to compete in the Ball State Challenge. Several Raiders had impressive finishes. Maria Heckman was first place in the pole vault event at 3.65m and Victoria Angelopoulos finished fourth place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.89.
