Wright State University (WSU) announced plans to possibly move to fully remote operations ahead of an anticipated severe winter storm headed for the Dayton and Lake Campuses later this week.

In anticipation of severe winter weather expected to begin Feb. 2, the university announced that faculty and students should start planning to work and learn remotely for the duration of the storm, according to a campus-wide communication.
“Students should prepare for potential schedule changes and remote delivery of classes. Non-essential staff are also advised to be ready to work remotely,” the email states.
Greene County is currently under a winter weather advisory for Wednesday, Feb. 2 ,2022. The advisory will continue until Friday morning.
Three to six inches of snow coupled with ice are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
Southwest and Central Ohio are expected to get between 3 to 12 inches of snow and a tenth to half of an inch of ice.
