Multiple Wright State University student organizations are planning spooky fall events for tricks and treats on campus this Halloween.

Scary Movie Night | Residential Community Association & African American Residential Caucus

As a precursor to Nightmare on Springwood Lane, RCA and AARC will be screening ‘NOPE’ on Friday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. in Oelman 109.

‘NOPE’ is a science fiction thriller following the lives of people living at a secluded California ranch where mysterious events begin happening.

Pink-Out Bonfire Party | Black Student Union

BSU presents the Pink-Out Bonfire Party on Oct. 21 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the campus recreation park in Lot 4A.

All students are welcome to enjoy this fall Halloween event around the fire while promoting breast cancer awareness by wearing pink. BSU provides s’mores, music and hot chocolate.

Trick-or-Treat | Student Involvement and Leadership

Students can recreate childhood nostalgia on Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with SIL’s Trick-or-Treat event. Organizations and departments throughout the Student Union will be handing out various items and candy from respective office locations.

“Feel free to dress up, give out candy, whatever gets your haunt up!” the official event promotional poster says.

Young’s Dairy Trip | University Activities Board

Another event leading up to Halloween Bash is UAB’s Young’s Jersey Dairy Trip on Oct. 26 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Students can enjoy free food, mini golf and a corn maze. Only the first hundred people to reserve a ticket on Engage can participate in this event.

Halloween Bash | UAB

Despite being new on campus, this signature Halloween event attracted hundreds of students in its first annual celebration, according to event organizer Alexia Ricker.

This collaboration brings together student organizations such as the Commuter Student Association, Black Men on the Move and many more in the week leading up to the Friday night bash.

CSA president Alaina Collins mentioned the “minute to win it” games on Oct. 27 from 3 to 5 p.m.

“Mini Halloween games, fun prizes, music and a space to hang out and enjoy the holiday without it being too scary,” Collins described.

Nightmare on Springwood Lane | RCA

RCA will host this philanthropic event on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m..

With the donation of two non-perishable food items, students may walk through the haunted trail and hallway at The Woods residential halls.
