On March 15, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 10 into law. This bill includes the Internal Revenue Code to make new changes to the Emergency Rental Assistance program.
“[Senate Bill 10] revises an existing earmark, modifies the requirements for a temporary arts economic relief grant program, and declares an emergency,” the press release states.
National
March 14 was Equal Pay Day. The Joe Biden Administration held a roundtable event at the White House to talk about the gender pay gap.
“Women working full-time, year-round are paid only 84 cents, on average, for every dollar paid to men. Pay disparities are wider, on average, for many women of color, including Black women, Latinas, Native American women and some groups of Asian American women,” a March 14 White House Press release states.
The Biden Administration announced the Department of Labor’s Mega Construction Project (Megaproject) Program to help combat this issue.

U.S. President Biden met with United Kingdom and Australian officials on March 13 to discuss making a safer Indo-Pacific ocean.
According to a tweet from POTUS, this initiative is to strengthen submarine capacity.
“Together, we are taking steps to build a more secure future for the Indo-Pacific and the world by developing our close defense cooperation,” the president wrote in the tweet.
