National
A deep-sea submersible, the Titan, imploded in the Atlantic Ocean and killed all five people on board, according to an Associated Press release; the voyagers traveled to see the Titanic shipwreck, and intense external water pressure at 12,500 feet is likely the cause of the implosion.
According to a June 22 United States Coast Guard press release, a remotely operated vehicle found a debris field near the Titanic on Thursday, causing further investigation.

An Associated Press release states that Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Wagner, a private Russian military company, marched on Moscow in a mercenary uprising on June 23.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on what this march means about Russian power and how to move forward in a public address.
“Today, the world saw that the bosses of Russia do not control anything. Nothing at all. Complete chaos,” Zelenskyy said. “First, the world should not be afraid. We know that only our unity protects us.”
The United States Department of Defense released a readout of a phone call from Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III with defense ministers from France, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland, reiterating support for Ukraine and continued coordination with allies as the situation in Russia develops.
