RaiderGang 2023 season ends
After beating Oakland twice on Saturday, May 27, the RaiderGang traveled to Indiana for the Terre Haute Regional on June 3, losing to Indiana State and North Carolina.
The Raiders finished the season 39-23.
Dayton Metro Library opens new branch
According to the Dayton Metro Library's website, there is a new Huber Heights branch at 6243 Brandt Pike equipped with community and study rooms, a cultural commons area, computer workspaces and quiet reading areas, among other amenities.

On June 3, President Joe Biden signed into law the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023, suspending and extending the public debt limit to accommodate foreseeable expenses until 2025, according to a White House press release.
“It protects the core pillars of my Investing in America agenda that is creating good jobs across the country, fueling a resurgence in manufacturing, rebuilding our infrastructure and advancing clean energy,” the president’s statement reads. “It safeguards peoples’ health care and retirement security, protecting bedrock programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.”

According to an Associated Press release, a train crash in Odisha, India involving two passenger trains killed 280 and injured over 800 people.
In a press release from the India Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, railway system management has extended Railway Helpline 139 to assist and inform passengers and the families of passengers.
