“LOVE + POP” by Current Joys | Aug. 4
Nick Rattigan, or “Current Joys,” will release the album “LOVE + POP” after releasing the title track in June. The indie artist is most known for the songs “Blondie” and “New Flesh.”
“A Love Letter To You 5” by Trippie Redd | Aug. 4
Ohio native and genre-defying rapper Trippie Redd released the single “Last Days” on July 25 ahead of his upcoming album that will reach audiences on Aug. 4. The album will include features from other notable artists, including Roddy Ricch, The Kid LAROI and Bryson Tiller, according to the tracklist.
“..P O R T R A I T S..” by Birdy | Aug. 18
Pop singer Birdy brings an agile and eclectic new record to fans on Aug. 18, a month later than the original release date.
“Sorry to make you wait another few weeks, but I hope you’ll think it’s worth it,” Birdy wrote in an Instagram post.
“Unreal Unearth” by Hozier | Aug. 18
Following the release of the EP “Unknown / Nth,” singer-songwriter Hozier will release “Unreal Unearth” on Aug. 18. The Irish folk and alternative artist’s next album promises storytelling, spanning a journey of multiple years.
“I’m proud of this record and enjoyed watching it come to life over the past year,” Hozier wrote in an Instagram post.
“Drama Queen” by Idina Menzel | Aug. 18
Idina Menzel, the famous voice of Elsa in the “Frozen” movies, will release a solo album titled “Drama Queen.” Menzel described the pre-release single, “Move,” as the first of many different moods that listeners will hear on the upcoming record.
“Jaguar II” by Victoria Monét | Aug. 25
Georgia-based pop singer Victoria Monét returns to the studio with “Jaguar II” after the release of “Jaguar” in 2020. Monét’s single “On My Mama” is available now.
