Gunman injures 4 in Beavercreek Walmart
On Monday, Nov. 20, 20-year-old Benjamin Charles Jones went into the Beavercreek Walmart and began firing a gun, injuring four people, according to a post on X from the Beavercreek Police Department. The shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Ohio State loses to Michigan
On Saturday, Nov. 25, the Ohio State Buckeyes fell to the Michigan Wolverines 24-30 for the third year in a row. Offensive Coordinator Sherrone Moore led the Wolverines to the victory, as Head Coach Jim Harbaugh was serving a three-game suspension from the Big Ten Conference.
Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord threw for 271 yards with two interceptions; Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy threw for 148 yards with no interceptions.

2 killed in crash at border checkpoint
On Wednesday, Nov. 22, a New York couple crashed into a border checkpoint in Niagara Falls and died in the explosion, according to a press release from the Associated Press. The investigation is still ongoing.

Hostages released in Israel-Hamas war
According to a press release from the Associated Press, Hamas militants released 17 hostages and Israel freed 39 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday, Nov. 25, as part of a four-day cease fire.
“The cease-fire, brokered by Qatar and the United States, is the first extended break in fighting since the war began. Overall, Hamas is to release at least 50 Israeli hostages, and Israel 150 Palestinian prisoners. All are women and minors,” the release reads.
