Three NPHC plots vandalized at Wright State
Three National Pan-Hellenic Council plots on the Dayton campus of Wright State University were vandalized last week. The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. markers are the impacted plots.
Treyah Gray, the NPHC president and chapter president of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., and Gabrielle Brown, president of the Epsilon Chi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., said that some sorority sisters noticed that three signs were written on after Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Police say Nex Benedict, nonbinary teenager, did not die as a result of fight
On Feb. 21, according to the Associated Press, police said that Nex Benedict did not die from injuries sustained in an altercation in a school restroom.
The altercation took place on Feb. 7, and Benedict died on Feb. 8 after experiencing shallow breathing, the Associated Press reports.
On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25, vigils took place across the nation.

On Saturday, Feb. 24, former President of the United States Donald Trump won the South Carolina Republican primary against Nikki Haley, according to the Associated Press.

31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have died since Russia invasion
On Sunday, Feb. 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in action since Russia’s invasion on Feb. 24, 2022, according to the Associated Press.
