Tushar Gandhi visits Wright State

On Wednesday, Jan. 31, Tushar Gandhi visited Wright State University to discuss healthcare disparities in minority communities, exemplifying the pillars of his great-grandfather, Mahatma Gandhi. 

Wright State University’s Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and College of Liberal Arts collaborated for the event.

Fire in Kenya kills 3, injures 280

On Friday, Feb. 2, a truck with liquid petroleum gas cylinders exploded in Nairobi, Kenya, killing at least three people and injuring over 280 others, according to the Associated Press. The explosion resulted in a fire that burned homes and warehouses. 

The Kenya Red Cross expects the death toll to rise, with at least 24 people in critical condition.
