There are many animals in the world that have a habit of collecting things– including birds, rodents and even some mammals like humans. Based on your zodiac sign, what should you collect?
Aries
As a sign that is often obsessed with action– whether that be taking action or consuming action media– there are a lot of options of what to collect. For a physical item, however, comic books would work best!
For an Aries who may be more relaxed, graphic novels are a great idea too.
Taurus: Antique jewelry
Every Taurus loves to strut their stuff, and what better way to go about that than by collecting and wearing antique jewelry? While nowadays society focuses more on small, less detailed work, there are still plenty of intricate necklaces and rings available at thrift stores!
You may have to learn how to properly clean jewelry, though. Who knows how many people wore it before you!
Gemini
Gemini’s would probably be too busy to focus on a specific item to collect, so why not collect trinkets as a whole? These can range from figurines, to dolls, to parts of other things and more! This makes the process of finding new collectibles much easier.
Plus, a Gemini probably would not want to be stuck on the idea of just one thing, meaning random trinkets would be perfect.
Cancer
Among the zodiac signs, Cancers are by far the most likely to deeply cherish memories with their loved ones. Because of this, they may want a physical reminder that their friends were with them. Polaroids and other printed pictures are an excellent way to go about this!
Also, seeing other peoples’ pictures can also be heartwarming.
Leo
Music is an important aspect of any Leo, meaning that they would probably collect vinyls, CDs or other records! Vinyls have come back recently as more and more music artists release them, but keep in mind that this collection may get a bit pricey!
Maybe stick to CDs instead. Or simply follow your heart!
Virgo
This serious sign would probably not want to collect something that others may see as silly– even though collecting anything is not silly-- and would focus on something more serious. Coins are an excellent way to go about a collecting hobby, especially since there are so many antique coins out there.
A lot of coins can also have silly details on them, something a Virgo may secretly enjoy.
Libra
Libra’s can often be seen as the “witchy” type, meaning they are more likely to collect things like rocks, gems or crystals! Some may collect them because many crystals are said to serve certain purposes, or maybe they just want them because they are pretty. Either way, a Libra is sure to appreciate any stone they find.
Maybe consider this for a future gift!
Scorpio
To many, the act of collecting bugs and putting them on display may sound vulgar or disrespectful, a description that a Scorpio would absolutely adore. A Scorpio would understand the beauty in preserving insects and find comfort in collecting them.
One of the most beautiful– and popular– types of bug to collect are butterflies. Make sure you know how to properly pin them!
Sagittarius
A Sagittairius would appreciate a collectible that is small, pleasing to look at and has a dedicated space to be stored. Thus, magnets would be the perfect collectible! Almost everywhere you go, you will be able to find a decorative magnet, and there are few (but dedicated) spaces around your house– like a fridge– to put them on display!
Of course, with so many magnets comes less and less space to put them. By the time you finish your collection, you may have a fridge completely covered with magnets from all over the world!
Capricorn
Snow globes are not just a Christmas activity, despite what a Capricorn may think. In fact, there are a large variety of events or holidays that can be transformed into a snow globe– some examples being Halloween or Easter. The chance to find a one-of-a-kind snowglobe is also high, making this right up a Capricorn’s alley!
The only downside to this collectible is the anxiety of potentially breaking them. Make sure to put them in a safe space!
Aquarius
As a lover of physical words– like notes and letters– keeping a part of these envelopes may be just the collectible you have been looking for. Every country is releasing new stamp designs almost constantly; all you have to do is find a way to buy them.
If actual, authentic stamps are not up your alley, there are always sticker versions that you can find in stationary or journalism kits.
Pisces
As one of the most artistic signs in the zodiac, the obvious choice is pins. You can find pins nearly everywhere and of varying ages– whether they are antique pins found in a pawn shop or fancy pins of your favorite character, there are thousands available.
Searching sites like Etsy also provides a good way to find pins!
