Horoscopes: What Classic Nickelodeon Cartoon are You?

Nickelodeon has hosted many cartoons over the past few decades, many of which are now viewed as iconic. Based on your zodiac sign, which classic Nickelodeon cartoon are you?

Note

For the sake of this article, all shows originally aired before 2010 will be considered “classic.” Even though 2010 was only 15 years ago, many of the more well-known Nickelodeon cartoons were released in the early-mid 2000s.

Aries

For a sign typically related to angry outbursts, it only makes sense that this sign’s cartoon is “The Angry Beavers.

This sitcom follows two wacky brothers, Norbert and Daggett Beaver, as they leave home to pursue a bachelor life on the outskirts of an Oregon town. The show originally premiered on April 19, 1997.

Taurus

For a sign with a special type of humor, an excellent cartoon is “Rocko’s Modern Life.”

As one of the more traditionally classic cartoons, “Rocko’s Modern Life” follows Australian immigrant Rocko in the fictional town O-Town, and features plenty of adult humor. The show originally premiered on Sept. 18, 1993.

Gemini

For a sign that may be seen as “living a double life,” the best-fitting cartoon is “My Life as a Teenage Robot.”

This science-fiction cartoon follows the humorous yet dramatic life of superhero robot Jenny Wakeman. She struggles to balance between a life of crime-fighting and being a normal teenage girl. The show originally premiered on Aug. 1, 2003.

Cancer

For a sign that loves their friends, they would most appreciate “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

Perhaps the most popular Nickelodeon cartoon, it explores a world where people can “bend” the four elements– fire, earth, water and air. The last airbender, Aang, is the protagonist of this show, along with his various friends. The show originally premiered on Feb. 21, 2005.

Leo

For a sign that is full of life and with a busy existence, the most relatable cartoon would be “Rugrats.”

“Rugrats” is a slice-of-life that follows the adventures of a wacky baby and friends living in southeastern California. The show originally premiered on Aug. 11, 1991.

Virgo

For a sign that is often seen as the “smartest” of the zodiacs, the most accurate cartoon would be “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.”

Also known as just “Jimmy Neutron,” this iconic cartoon follows the adventures of boy-genius Jimmy Neutron and his two friends Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez. The show originally premiered on July 20, 2002.

Libra

For a sign that often searches for balance, they will enjoy “Hey Arnold!

This show balances the lives of many characters, with the main protagonist being Arnold Shortman, who navigates life in the inner-city with his friends. The show originally premiered Oct. 7, 1996.

Scorpio

For a sign often seen as “edgy” or with similar descriptions, the most relatable cartoon would be “Invader Zim.”

“Invader Zim” tells the conflict between Invader Zim, an alien from another planet pretending to be human so he can take over the world, and Dib Membrane, a scientist’s son who is determined to show the world what Zim really is. The show originally premiered on March 30, 2001.

Sagittarius

For this adventurous and humorous sign, they would most appreciate “Back at the Barnyard.”

This 3D-animated comedy follows a series of anthropomorphic animals who go on fun adventures while trying to hide their anthropomorphic nature from humans. The show originally aired Sept. 29, 2007.

Capricorn

For this split sign that some could say have drastically different personality traits, they would most relate to “CatDog.”

“CatDog” follows the life of conjoined brothers of two different species, Cat and Dog. The brothers fight over what decisions to make that align with both of their unique personalities each episode. The show originally premiered on April 4, 1998.

Aquarius

For a sign that enjoys drama and conflict, the best show would be “Danny Phantom.”

This paranormal superhero cartoon follows the life of Danny Fenton, who accidentally becomes a human-ghost hybrid and must protect the world against subsequent ghost attacks. The show originally premiered on April 3, 2004.

Pisces

Last but not least, this imaginative and creative sign can most enjoy “The Fairly OddParents.”

This story follows protagonist Timmy Turner as he navigates childhood with fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda. He often uses them to solve small problems that end up expanding into larger issues to be solved each episode. The show originally premiered March 30, 2001.
