Horoscopes: What Tarot Card Are You?

In a typical tarot card deck, there are 78 cards divided into two sections: major arcana and minor arcana. In the 22-card deck of major arcana, a story begins to unfold as you read each card. Based on your zodiac sign, what tarot card are you?

Aries

The tarot card for Aries is the Sun, the card for joy.

While some may see Aries as a sign that is hard-headed and even angry– which they certainly can be sometimes– others can recognize all aspects of the sign. This sign shines as bright as the sun, meaning that this tarot card is perfect; on top of this, the Sun also represents good fortune and harmony!

Taurus

The tarot card for Taurus is the Empress, the card for decadence.

The Empress can be associated with many different things, including love, family and financial success. For a Taurus, these are all something to be striving for– plus, this sign would die to be in the same position as the Empress: in a palace of stability and abundance!

Gemini

The tarot card for Gemini is Strength, the card for control.

A Gemini is a disciplined individual who manages to tackle the many tasks in their life with relative ease. The Strength card represents this, as well as their compassion for the people in their life and inner strength, leading to a healthy, balanced life.

Cancer

The tarot card for Cancer is the Lovers, the card for companionship.

This loving sign often dedicates themself to the relationships in their life, aligning them with the Lovers perfectly. While the Lovers sounds like just romantic relationships, the card represents any type of soulmate in your life– whether it be platonic or romantic.

Leo

The tarot card for Leo is the Fool, the card for potential.

While the Fool may sound negative at first, its meaning runs much deeper than what may be seen at face value, similar to a Leo. The Fool is all about new beginnings, and is often considered the beginning of the story that a tarot deck tells. Just like the Fool, every Leo should have faith in what the future will bring for them!

Virgo

The tarot card for Virgo is Justice, the card for fairness.

One of the best qualities of a Virgo is their ability to make decisions without outside influence– they will always consider the most logical and influential decision that has positive outcomes. While this may be difficult to balance, a Virgo and the Justice card both excel at this ability.

Libra

The tarot card for Libra is the Chariot, the card for prowess.

Libra is a sign that may be hard to define at points, but this sign is well-known for always being able to persevere and push forward. The Chariot is all about overcoming conflict and staying committed to a better, brighter future– which perfectly encapsulates the energy of a Libra.

Scorpio

The tarot card for Scorpio is the Devil, the card for excess.

Unfortunately, this card has some negative connotations to it– the Devil is often associated with obsession or entrapment. The obsession can be for worldly possessions, physical desire and other luxuries. However, the feelings of entrapment are usually self-imposed– meaning that you may be holding yourself back!

Sagittarius

The tarot card for Sagittarius is the World, the card for fulfillment.

Many Sagittarius’ will be able to understand that the World signifies a major change coming to your life. The most recent chapter of your life is beginning to come to a close, and it is time to look forward to the future and be sure you are prepared for what is coming next. Do not worry, though– you will leave the previous chapter feeling fulfilled and satisfied!

Capricorn

The tarot card for Capricorn is the Tower, the card for upheaval.

A Capricorn can often be an unpredictable character– reflecting the unpredictability of the Tower. Similar to a Sagittarius, this tarot card is associated with change, but these changes are sudden and unforeseen. It can also mean destruction and liberation– while this may sound scary, it means that there are changes coming to your life that will ultimately be for the best!

Aquarius

The tarot card for Aquarius is the Magician, the card for mastery.

The Magician is largely about the fulfillment of one's desires. An Aquarius is a motivated individual that constantly works towards the future, and they have many talents to help them succeed; the Magician is very similar in this aspect. If you draw the Magician, it is your sign to not hold back!

Pisces

The tarot card for Pisces is the Star, the card for hope.

The Star is about a renewal for hope and of the spirit. Inspiration is also bound to follow– something that the creative Pisces will thoroughly enjoy. The Star is an overly positive sign, and every Pisces can expect some sort of positive change in their lives soon!
