Governor DeWine closes bars, restaurants to prevent spread of coronavirus

On Sunday, Governor Mike DeWine announced the closure and limited business of restaurants and bars ahead of St. Patricks Day celebrations.

Effective at 9 p.m. Sunday night locations will begin to close.

According to the Department of Health there are currently 350 people under investigation and 37 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness spread between people in close contact with each other or through respiratory droplets from coughing or sneezing. To protect yourself and those around you, cover coughs and sneezes and avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. Symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.)

During the press conference, it was stated that the Governor would also sign an executive order for unemployment during this time.
