As the first week of classes continue, Wright State University prepares a tentative plan in case members of the faculty union go on strike. The university has stated on several platforms that classes would continue on and there would be arrangements made for members of staff and administration to fill classes.

These instructors would have the same authority as professors teaching the course would have.

“The university has contingency plans in place that provide full authority to the instructors assisting the university during this period of time,” Susan Edwards, WSU Provost said. “This authority extends to attendance, assignments, issuing quizzes and tests, as well as posting grades.”

Attendance during this time is being required in order for financial aid to be fulfilled.
