Raiders dominate Green Bay 4-1

The Wright State women’s soccer team extended their winning streak to three after dominating Green Bay 4-1 on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Senior mid-fielder Natalie Sedlock got the Raiders on top just 7:44 into the game after an assist by senior mid-fielder Ashley Gogolin.  Just over ten minutes later sophomore mid-fielder Bryce Hueber fired the ball from 45 yards out and scored her fifth goal of the season to give the Raiders a 2-0 lead

Katie Schulz fired back for the Phoenix with a goal on a free kick to cut the deficit to one before the half.

15 minutes into the second half senior mid-fielder MacKenzie Hamilton scored her second goal of the season to give the Raiders a 3-1 lead.  Sedlock added to the Raiders lead with eight minutes remaining for her sixth goal of the season and 12th in her career at WSU.

The Phoenix outshot the Raiders by four with 16 shot attempts but senior goal keeper Halle Pyle collected four saves for 56 on the season.

The Raiders will be back in action in Detroit on Friday, Oct. 30 at 3 p.m.
