In early January, Rylee Sagester, a freshman guard on the Wright State Women's basketball team, earned Horizon League freshman of the week. She was the first raider of the season to receive a Horizon League honors.

WSU Baseball Team Swings into a New Season

The Wright State men’s baseball team will kick off their 2025 spring season on the road, facing Longwood University in a highly anticipated matchup on Feb. 14. Last Season, the Raiders won their sixth consecutive Horizon League regular season title, but ultimately lost to NKU in the Horizon League Championship.

The Wright State University women’s basketball defended the Nutter Center once again while hosting Youngstown University. The Raiders have been working hard and consecutively throughout the season, coming into Sunday with a 3-14 overall record and a 2-7 in Horizon League play.
