Women’s Tennis wins first conference match

The WSU Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams are both facing a conference-heavy schedule this month, and with it, a big chance to move up in the standings.

Jan. 14th, Coach’s Show at Flyboy’s Deli, 6 p.m.

Jan. 17th, @ Youngstown State, 7 p.m.

Jan. 19th, @ Cleveland State, 7 p.m.

Jan. 24th, vs. Milwaukee, 7 p.m.

Jan. 26th, vs. Green Bay, 7 p.m.

* Women’s Basketball (12-4, Head Coach: Katrina Merriweather)

The women’s team looks to continue their hot start. January features a heavyweight bout between the 2nd place Raiders and 1st place YSU Penguins.

The Women’s Tennis team looks to find success this year, led by lone senior Haily Morgan who won Horizon League Player of the Week last January and is hoping to repeat.

Men’s Tennis was able to tread water last year at 13-12.
