On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, former president Donald Trump was officially arraigned on 34 counts of falsifying business records. After appearing in court for the arraignment, Trump spoke at the Mar-a-Largo hotel. The former president is pleading not guilty to all 34 counts.
“The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it,” Trump said at Mar-a-Largo.
Global
As of April 4, Finland is now a part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, according to a White House press release.
President Biden expressed excitement about the thirty-first ally.
“Today, we are more united than ever. And together—strengthened by our newest Ally Finland—we will continue to preserve transatlantic security, defend every inch of NATO territory, and meet any and all challenges we face,” the press release reads.
