A moment 30 years in the making, Back to the Future will finally be reach a monumental anniversary.

The first film opens up with Marty McFly meeting his good friend Doc Brown at Twin Pines Mall in the middle of the night. There, McFly discovers that Brown has created a time machine with DeLorean sports car. Craziness ensues and McFly is sent to the past, accidentally preventing his parents from meeting.

The second film follows a similar line of fixing an event in time with the exception of this trip being to the future. That future is Oct. 21, 2015.

Many theaters, including Rave Cinemas at The Greene, will be hosting a one-day only film event. All three movies will be played back-to-back-to-back-to-the-future with one flat rate.

The film will be re-released in a special 30th anniversary edition with an exclusive short film with Christopher Lloyd (Brown) starring. A sneak peek of the short was released today:
