The Saturday game, which will be the Raiders’ first home match in over three weeks, has been dubbed the “Stick it to Cancer” game. T-shirts commemorating the event will be on sale for $15, and food, raffles and door prizes will be available, according to the team’s website.

Volleyball: Raiders Volleyball drops eleventh straight match, loses to UIC, Valpo

When it rains, it pours.

Wright State’s volleyball team lost twice on Friday and Saturday, to UIC and Valpo in straight sets, bringing its season-high losing streak to 11 consecutive matches.

WSU kept pace with UIC throughout the match, dropping each set by four points or less. The Raiders were not as fortunate against the Crusaders, losing the first and second sets 25-16 and 25-18, before falling 25-22 in the final set.

Since coach Susan Clements took over last season, the Raiders are 0-21 in conference play.

WSU continues conference play Friday against Milwaukee at 7 p.m. and Saturday against Green Bay at 4 p.m. at McLin Gym.
