WSU not considered in list of top 250 universities in the nation

Buffalo Business First, sister company to the Dayton Business Journal, ranked the nation’s best public universities and Wright State fell into the article’s “lower echelon,” which is the catch-all for the universities who did not rank above 250 out of 477 universities.

Six Ohio schools made it into the ranking, the highest being The Ohio State University, at 16 on the list, followed by Miami, University of Cincinnati, Ohio University, Bowling Green State and Kent State. However, with WSU ranked below 250, the university’s ranking could be anywhere between 251 and 477.

The schools were judged in seven categories, which are selectivity, advancement, prestige, resources, costs, diversity and community. Buffalo Business First has compiled profiles for the top 250 to show how colleges performed in each of these categories.

A list of all the colleges and information on the ranked Ohio colleges can be found on the Dayton Business Journal.
