Catalytic converters stolen on campus

Four separate thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles parked on campus occurred today between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., according to WSU police.

The alleged thieves are targeting high-clearance vehicles like trucks and SUVs, crawling underneath the vehicles to cut off catalytic converters with a mechanical saw, police said in an alert email.

Anyone with any information on the matter should contact Wright State police at 937-775-2111.
