Spring break has finally reached Wright State University and it’s time for students to take a (much deserved) break. Whether it means getting outside or simply staying in, here’s some activities to liven up your week.

When it comes to getting out and getting some fresh air, the Dayton area provides many sights to see.

Wegerzyn gardens provides an open area with paths to walk on and provides an outdoorsy place to have a cute photoshoot. Take a walk at Charleston Falls or even walk through the Oregon District one evening.

Carrying on with downtown Dayton, the Oregon District is full of eateries for each day of break. Franco’s, Thai 9, Corner Kitchen, and more line the streets providing a multitude of options.

The Oregon District also has nightlife worthy of one of your nights off.

Taverns, bars, and pubs provide an inclusive social setting for anyone looking to let loose for a night. These spots are a great place to connect with new people and make memories.

Young’s Jersey Dairy provides a quick bite to eat and a competitive game of mini golf. You can also spend time feeding the goats or individualizing your ice cream order.

You can shop until you drop all over the Dayton area.

The Greene Towne Center, The Mall at Fairfield Commons, Target, etc. are all local and worthy of some of your spring break.

Staying at home and enjoying your time off at your leisure can be just as rewarding as going out. Catching up on lost sleep and the Netflix episodes of your favorite show is another spring break worthy activity.

Saving some money and doing some DIY activities like spring cleaning an organization is always a helpful way to make it through the rest of the semester.

Spend your week exploring the local shops and restaurants and taking some time for yourself.
